October First Friday

As part of the monthly First Friday celebration at Liberty Station, San Diego Writers, Ink invites you to experience Of Love & Landscapes, a photography exhibit by Adhara Mereles honoring nature, connection, and the beauty of the world around us.

Through photography, Adhara explores the ways landscapes can hold memory, emotion, and a sense of belonging. The exhibit invites us to slow down, look closely, and consider the connections between ourselves and the places we inhabit.

Come by during First Friday to listen to some poetry, view the exhibit, snack on some treats, meet community members, and enjoy the vibrant energy of the NTC Arts District.

The show celebrates the launch of Adhara’s first photopoetry book, and includes a poetry performance followed by a photography reception.

Come at any time to view art and meet other community members.

After you come by the gallery, please check out our neighbors as well! The whole NTC arts area of Liberty Station comes alive with museums, galleries, dance studios, and artist studios opening their doors. There is plenty of music and free food throughout the area.
