Grab your book-loving friends, come up with a clever team name, and join San Diego Writers, Ink for a lively evening celebrating National Banned Books Week and our freedom to read banned and challenged books.

Test your literary know-how (and your ability to make things up!) with Banned Book Charades, Explain This Book Badly, Who Banned It?, and a fast-paced Lightning Round. Don’t know every book? No problem. Wit, creativity, teamwork, and hilariously wrong answers may be just as valuable as knowing the right one.

Come ready to play, laugh, win prizes—including Blind Date with a Banned Book surprises—and make a little noise about something we care deeply about: Books. Stories. Everyone’s voice.

Bring your team or come on your own and we’ll help you join one. All are welcome!
