Tabatha Tovar
Tabatha has wanted to be a novelist since she saw an author’s presentation in the third grade. She never lost track of that dream, secretly writing short stories and poems, though her educational path took her in another direction. Studying health, she’s worked or volunteered as a masseuse, doula, health educator for the Peace Corps, community college educator, and epidemiologist. She’s published an essay on raising a child with Down syndrome in Fully Included, Stories to Inspire and two short stories in the anthology Modern Metamorphosis. Since finishing SDWI’s Novel writing certification, she’s writing her first novel while working and raising four kids.
