Born and raised in San Diego, Stacy is a wife and mom, reader, writer, and traveler.  A former educator and lifelong learner, Stacy holds a degree in journalism from the University of Southern California and a teaching credential from the University of California, San Diego. Last year, she was honored to be featured in A Year in Ink, Volume 17, published by San Diego Writer’s, Ink. When she’s not savoring time with her family, reading, or practicing Italian verb conjugations, you can find her at Prayers & Piazzas, a website focusing on Italy’s history and culture for travelers, or writing essays and tiny memoirs for Ode to Joys, her Substack site.
