Grace is a writer and educator with an MFA in Creative Writing from SDSU and a BA from UCLA. Her poetry has been published in Crazyhorse, North American Review, Tupelo Quarterly, Cream City Review, Los Angeles Review, and other journals. She was a finalist in the Tupelo Quarterly Open Competition, the Jane Underwood Poetry Prize, and the Herman Memorial Prize from the Academy of American Poets. She has taught creative writing, literature, and composition at SDSU. She is the co-editor of Red Wheelbarrow Magazine and was previously an editor for Poetry International and volunteer teacher for Poetic Youth.
