Karen Kenyon

Karen has been writing and publishing poetry for many years, with poems published in Ladies’ Home Journal, The Christian Science Monitor, and small journals including San Diego Poetry AnthologySan Diego Free Press, and Magee Park Anthology. Her memoir, Sunshower (Putnam, NY 1981) is a hybrid text which includes both prose and poetry. She recently finished over 30 years of teaching MiraCosta and now teaches at UCSD Extension and through the Osher program at San Diego State University. She is working on her collection of poetry, entitled “Painted Lady,” and her book on The Bronte Family (The Bronte Family: Passionate Literary Geniuses) is now in paperback form and her bio on Charles Dickens (Charles Dickens/Compassion and Contradiction) is now an ebook and is out in paperback with a special introduction discussing A Christmas Carol. Both books are published by Endeavour Media in London.
