Kim was a university professor (in English Literature and Composition) for 15 years who then went on to be a writer, web designer, and marketing professional. She was once hired by a military contractor for a year to make PowerPoint slides for presentations which were presented to high-level officials in Washington, D.C. In addition, she has presented at numerous academic conferences, as well as local venues like retirement homes, on a wide range of topics. She is in the final stages of a murder mystery novel which she hopes to have traditionally published by 2019. She is a blogger, a big fan of technology (she writes using Scrivener and teaches a class on the program), and a frequent participant in November’s National Novel Writing Month.
