Cristina was born and raised in Chula Vista, California. She is a first-generation, Latina college student at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She will be graduating with an English degree and Educational Studies minor next spring. She is also the co-chair for UCSB’s Intersectional Feminists Club and teaches second graders at a local elementary school. She plans to take a gap year after graduation to save up money and travel.
