Lisa is the author of Skinner’s Drift, a NY Times Notable Book of 2006, a finalist for the LA Times First Fiction Award, and the runner up for the 2007 Dayton Literary Peace Prize. Her short stories have been anthologized and featured on Selected Shorts on NPR. She has written numerous travel articles and book reviews for the New York Times, and is the recipient of a 2009 fellowship to the Bread Loaf Writers Conference.
