Libby was chosen as one of eight writers in the United States to receive the PEN Emerging Voices Fellowship in 2008. Her short fiction has appeared in Post Road Magazine, The Rattling Wall, and Circa Magazine. She was recently a finalist in Glimmer Train’s Very Short Story Contest and in Gigantic Sequins 4th Annual Flash Fiction Contest. Her short story “Fifty-Fifty Chance” will be published in FLASH: The International Short-Short Story Magazine Issue 8.2. She is the program manager for PEN Center USA’s Emerging Voices Fellowship and PEN Craft Sessions. Libby holds an MFA in creative writing from Bennington College.
