For the past fifteen years, Arlon has performed as a copywriter and creative brand strategist across multiple industries—from diamonds to defense and sunglasses to science— including working with two Fortune 500 companies. Currently, he is a Sr. Copywriter in the advertising department at Illumina, a life sciences company committed to improving human health by unlocking the power of the genome. Arlon has also taught Promotional Copywriting as a part of the marketing certificate program at the UCSD Extension. He also leads the Self-Expression and Leadership Program at Landmark Worldwide and is a regular presenter at Landmark’s Conference for Global Transformation. Arlon is an avid runner and recently committed to running a half-marathon in all fifty states for charity; he calls this project Run 50 With Me. He and his husband Drew live in University Heights with their dog, Sergeant Chocolate Chip.
