Class Description

Summer Solstice marks the beginning of the new season, the longest day and shortest night of the year. What better way to celebrate than at a gathering with a group of writers gathered around a traditional Solstice bonfire? For this Solstice gathering let’s take ourselves and our notebooks bayside in San Diego’s beautiful Mission Bay to gather around a fire-ring and write our way into the shortest night. We’ll begin in the still-bright light of day and watch the sun as it descends into the watery horizon and the June Full Moon rises in the east. Bring your beach chairs and writing materials. Participants will be sent the exact location and directions prior to our gathering.

Specific details about the meeting location will be confirmed with your reservation.
