Class Description

Second Tuesday Explorations is a monthly gathering of creative writers that fosters support, inspiration, and community. Second Tuesday is a generative meeting. New topics for each session will challenge writers to explore and expand their craft. Generative writing prompts will encourage you to grow and learn in exciting new ways. The first hour will be spent introducing the prompt followed by a sustained ‘free-write’ period. During the second hour, writers will be invited to share their writing with the group.

Open to writers of all genres.

Sharing your work within a safe, supportive community will help you discover and strengthen your voice.

Please note that signing up for two months at a time will allow you to take advantage of the following discount: $62 for two months for members, $74 for two months for nonmembers. Members may also purchase a discounted bundle of six month for $186 total.

June: The Art of the Villain, Jester & Confidante: We will explore the role of villains, jesters, and confidantes. Why bring those characters on the page? What purpose do they serve? How to effectively use these ‘types’ to open up your stories.
