Hello! I’m Em Weiss, a new intern for San Diego Writers, Ink! I’m currently a junior at High Tech High Media Arts in Liberty Station. I graduate in the spring of 2024, and I’m not entirely sure where I’m going to go to college or even what I want to study. I think I want to pursue something in design or writing, hence why I’m interning here! I’m also very fascinated in Greek mythology and architecture. I was born and raised in Encinitas and moved to San Diego almost 5 years ago, and I absolutely love it here! I could potentially see myself studying abroad for a year or two somewhere in Europe, but ultimately I think I’ll be staying somewhere in California. Some of my passions include baking, writing poetry and short stories, painting, listening to plenty of music, and I’m a coffee addict + barista! My current obsessions include Shion Takeuchi’s show, “Inside Job,” London Fog tea, and “Warm Cashmere” perfume from Philosophy.
