This week’s final Summer in the Arts District feature goes to Apt 4 Music!

Apt 4 Music is a community outreach program located in Liberty Station. Their mission is “to create opportunity in the musical arts, making music accessible and achievable for anyone with an aptitude for it,” and their core values are to inspire, educate, empower, and lead.

Apt 4 Music offers lots of music lessons, concerts, and, of course, band rehearsals. They donate most of their time to support schools that don’t have music programs. This past summer Apt 4 Music brought International Make Music Day to Liberty Station and hosted a music festival on June 21 with live music and interactive workshops.

Although Apt 4 Music mostly operates during the school year, they offer music camps on their website. Check out their site here to learn more!
